Acknowledgement

Among the Trees respectfully acknowledges that our experiences take place on the ancestral lands and waters of the Îyârhe Nakoda (Stoney), Niitsítapi (Blackfoot), Tsuut’ina (Sarcee), Ktunaxa (Kootenai), and Secwépemc (Salish) peoples.

We honour their deep and enduring connections to these mountains, forests, and rivers. We are grateful to walk and guide among them. May our time in these places nurture respect, peace, and a lasting bond with the land and all people.
